Dexter Street Commons Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for New Pawtucket Apartments

Dexter Street Commons has officially cut the ribbon on 150 brand-new apartments in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and what a celebration it was.

Surrounded by neighbors, partners, and civic leaders, we opened the doors at 71 Dexter Street. Joining us to celebrate the ribbon cutting were Rhode Island Governor Daniel J. McKee, Pawtucket Mayor Donald R. Grebien, and our own Lee Peyser, along with many others who have believed in this vision from the start.

The speeches said it best. Dexter Street Commons is more than a new apartment community. It is an investment in Pawtucket, in the surrounding neighborhood, and in the future of the city and state. Governor McKee and Mayor Grebien spoke to what modern, thoughtfully designed housing means for a growing community, and the energy made one thing clear: this project matters to a lot of people.
